About the Opportunity
This is an opportunity for a creative, independent, and outgoing recent graduate to work within a multidisciplinary cultural space in Phnom Penh that brings together contemporary art, exhibitions, events, education, hospitality, and community engagement.
Rather than simply completing assigned tasks, you will be encouraged to develop and lead your own project.
You will have access to a creative environment where you can explore your interests, connect with artists and communities, contribute to events, and potentially develop an idea from concept to execution.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on your background, interests, and organisational needs, focus within this placement includes:
Creative & Cultural Projects
- Develop your own cultural or creative project
- Support exhibitions and cultural programmes
- Develop workshops or educational activities
- Explore ideas connecting art, culture and the community
Events
- Support event planning and coordination
- Help manage cultural events and programmes
- Assist with event logistics and guest experience
- Develop creative ideas for future events
PR & Communications
- Support event promotion
- Develop social media and digital content
- Assist with creative campaigns
- Help communicate events and programmes to different audiences
Artist Liaison
- Communicate with artists and creative professionals
- Assist with artist coordination
- Support exhibitions and creative collaborations
- Help develop relationships within the creative community
Art Shop & Administration
- Support art shop activities
- Assist with day-to-day administration
- Contribute to improving visitor and customer experiences
- Support projects across different areas of the organisation
