About the Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at an international certification and sustainability organisation operating across more than 80 countries.  The internship combines marketing, branding, communications, and sustainable tourism, letting you work across different business areas while building practical experience in an international professional environment. 

A key part of the internship will involve exploring how businesses in Cambodia’s tourism sector can adopt more sustainable practices. You may have the opportunity to help develop practical projects such as training programmes for local tourism businesses, while also contributing to marketing and corporate communications activities. 

Key Responsibilities

Depending on your background, interests, and organisational needs, focus within this placement includes:

• Support branding activities across different business areas
• Help organise and maintain brand-related content and materials
• Assist with the development of corporate communication and marketing materials
• Contribute to copywriting and content development
• Research and develop ideas related to sustainable tourism
• Support the development of practical sustainability-related projects
• Work with different departments to understand how an international organisation operates
• Support administrative and digital tasks when required
• Participate occasionally in fieldwork, travel, or weekend activities

  • Field work: Occasionally, and will be covered by the organisation.

  • Work Structure: ~40 hours per week (Mon–Fri), office-based. 

  • Project Support: One potential project is developing a sustainable tourism training course for local tourism business operators. You may also have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas to projects involving:

This opportunity would suit a creative, proactive, and curious student or recent graduate (in Marketing, Communications, Sustainable Tourism, Tourism Management, Business, International Development, or related fields) who:

• Is comfortable researching and developing ideas
• Has strong written and verbal English
