Internship South East Asia (ISEA) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the British Chevening Alumni Association of Cambodia in Phnom Penh.
This marks an important step in building stronger, more structured connections between UK graduates and professional opportunities in Cambodia.
ISEA is a UK-registered company that connects graduates and young professionals with internships at established companies across Cambodia and Southeast Asia. From sourcing placements to supporting relocation and arrival, the focus is on making international experience accessible, professional, and well-supported.
Through this partnership, ISEA will work closely with BCAAC’s established network of Chevening alumni and university connections to expand access to opportunities on both sides.
Building a Stronger Talent Pipeline
The collaboration will focus on creating clear, structured pathways for UK students and graduates to gain experience in Cambodia, while also supporting local businesses with access to international talent.
Key areas of collaboration include:
- Promoting internship opportunities through UK university networks
- Connecting graduates with Cambodian businesses across key industries
- Supporting mentorship, knowledge exchange, and professional development
- Strengthening long-term UK–Cambodia professional networks
BCAAC’s alumni network, made up of UK-educated professionals across sectors, provides a strong foundation to build from. By aligning this with ISEA’s placement and relocation model, the partnership aims to turn interest in international experience into real, practical opportunities.
A Two-Way Opportunity
At its core, the partnership reflects a simple idea. Talent flows both ways.
UK graduates gain international experience, professional responsibility, and exposure to fast-growing markets. Cambodia benefits from skilled, motivated individuals entering the workforce, bringing new perspectives and contributing to business growth.

Over time, this type of exchange also strengthens wider connections between the two countries, supporting long-term collaboration across education, business, and professional networks.
Looking Ahead
This MoU sets the framework for future collaboration, with a focus on turning strategy into action. From university outreach to company placements and alumni engagement, the next phase will focus on delivering tangible outcomes.
For students, graduates, and businesses alike, this represents a growing opportunity to be part of a more connected UK–Cambodia professional landscape.
